Personal Concern for Brain Injury
Survivors
and Their Caregivers
|
|
David Goldin graduated in 1969 from Stanford Law and Stanford Business
Schools as the first student to complete the combined law (JD)-business
(MBA) program at Stanford. He started his legal career in San Diego in criminal law successfully handling jury trials for those who could not afford an attorney in serious felony cases such as murder, rape and robbery to obtain "not guilty" verdicts. In the 1970's Mr. Goldin changed his focus to civil cases and in the 1980's, along with an active business litigation practice, he became interested in brain injury cases. In the 1990's he found those suffering "mild" traumatic brain injuries often did not receive just compensation in our courts and decided to focus on helping these survivors and their families. He has successfully obtained six and seven figure money recoveries for his brain injury clients.
His goal is to offer legal services that make a difference in providing attention and resources for the successful treatment and rehabilitation of brain injury survivors and their families. He believes the key to a successful practice is personal concern for his clients and their caregivers.

The Brain--is wider than the Sky--
For--put them side by side--
The one the other will contain
With ease--and You--beside--
The Brain is deeper than the sea--
For--hold them--Blue to Blue--
The one the other will absorb--
As Sponges--Buckets--do--
The Brain is just the weight of God--
For--Heft them--Pound for Pound--
And they will differ--if they do--
As Syllable from Sound--
Emily Dickinson, c. 1862
